Thanks to your dedication, New Braunfels won the Niagara Perk Your Park Contest for a $90,000 park upgrade!! The City of #DeerfieldBeach would like to thank all of you who voted over and over again in hopes of winning a $75K grant toward park upgrades for Oveta McKeithen Recreational Complex. Although we were in the running for three weeks straight, and it looked like we might pull it off, we slipped to 4th place on the final week of voting. We still have not been informed of who took the top three spots, only that we did not win. I got on the swings to day for the first time in a long while. Athena kept yelling for me to go higher and have fun lol . I managed to get higher up than I expected I could again lol . We are the exploring a bit park personality type. I love exploring new parks with my family whenever we can .So many parks have so many interesting things to see and do . Not to mention the beauty in the nature.
